Goliath versus Goliath

They're billing it as the the battle between the Old Goliath and the new.  Liverpool FC v Chelsea.  Roy Hodgson's Reds at home to Ancelotti's Blues.  16th (after others played today) vs 1st.  While the middle of the table is tightly contested - with three points separating 5th from 16th - Chelsea have opened a useful gap at the top of the Premiership - two points and a game in hand over second placed Manchester United; five points clear of third-placed Arsenal.  Chelsea have won six, drawn one of their last seven matches in all competitions; have eight wins, one draw and only one loss from their opening ten premiership matches.  They are the form side in England at this time.  Reds fans will look to Captain Marvel, Stevie G and the return to form of Fernando Torres for the much-prized win - but would probably not be unhappy to share the points.
