Derby Day
2-2 and honours are shared in the Merseyside derby. Meireles put Liverpool in front with his first goal for the Club but Everton pegged them back after halftime then took a 2-1 lead. Dirk Kuyt had the last word from the penalty spot when Tim Howard brought down Maxi Rodriguez.
